The big map you see when you open the app is the main view. Tap or click it to bring up the controls in the top-right; they hide again after a few seconds. The gear icon opens Settings (four tabs). The flat / globe toggle is the icon next to it — on desktop, the shortcut is M; on touch, a two-finger tap. Everything else is below.
